On August 9, 2018, Constantin Film Verleih brought the murder mystery comedy SAUERKRAUTKOMA to German movie theaters. The fifth film from the bestselling series of novels written by Rita adaptation had the best box office start in Germany so far. The film was shot using camera and lighting equipment from ARRI Rental, with, among other things, the camera system AMIRA and Ultra-Prime lenses from ARRI.
The post production of SAUERKRAUTKOMA was done at ARRI Media in Munich. ARRI Media was responsible for the dailies services, etc., and ARRI Webgate took care of the image post production, including the color grading and VFX, the sound post production and the DCP mastering and versioning.
