DCP & HD Mastering
Our Digital Cinema Mastering services include the creation of DCI-compliant Digital Cinema Packages (DCP) in the formats 2K, 4K, 3D, HDR, HFR, 5.1, 7.1 and Dolby Atmos. With our team of specialists and our many years of experience, we offer maximum performance, flexibility and efficiency. In our mastering suites we rely solely on reference mastering and QC solutions.
Broadcast and VoD
Our offerings for broadcasting cover all services for the common file, tape-based broadcast and VOD formats - including ProResHD, MXF, IMX and many more.
Our service portfolio also includes broadcast and post-production workflows around the “Interoperable Master Format“ (IMF), which is a format for mastering or B2B exchange. IMF provides a standard digital file format that eases file exchanges, is great for multi language versions and the only standard mastering solution for UHD, Rec. 2020 and HDR. We offer our customers the ability to reliably manage and distribute their TV shows or movies as an IMF package.
Subtitling & Caption
In addition to the most common subtitle types and 3D subtitling for DCPs, we can also provide Closed Caption Version Files according to the FFA-specifications. These can then be viewed and approved in the ARRI movie theater. Through the consistent and continual training of our staff and the steady development of our internal workflows, we offer our customers the best possible solutions for all their requirements and wishes.
Technical quality control and approval of images and sound will be done in our own movie theater and DI suites in accordance with the DCI specifications, national and international broadcast specifications, as well as the specific distribution needs of your project. Through our additional location at the Bavaria Film, we can also offer our customers QC and approval for Atmos and HDR DCPs.
